Please introduce yourself and tell us a little bit about yourself –

Oh my! Introduce myself? That’s like the toughest task you can assign me ๐Ÿ™ˆ Oh well, I will give it a shot.

I am Eram, more popularly known by the acronym ERK. Like everybody else in this wonderful community, I love reading and started my blog as a means to share that love and also as a creative outlet. I treat my blog as my little corner of the world.

In real life, I am a 20 something literature student. I am a bit awkward but that’s probably because I am an ambivert. I can make friends very easily as I have little to no problem in talking to strangers but I am terrible at maintaining friendships.

The last book you read

The last book I read was This Does Not Leave This House by Julie Coons. It is an autobiography.

Describe the book in 5 words

Emotional, Inspiring, Revolutionising, Raw, Important.

What books do you want to make sure you read to your children?

I will make my children read Harry Potter and The Chronicles of Narnia (especially the last book The Silver Chair) since these are what got me into reading.

What genre would you like to read more of this year?

Genres that I don’t usually read or haven’t read anything from. I want to explore all the different genres this year. I want to read more of Sci-fi, literary fiction, New Adult and horror. I haven’t read anything from the horror genre (if you don’t count goosebumps as belonging to horror).

If you could have afternoon tea with one author who would it be?

That’s a toughie! ๐Ÿค” I love Jo Rowling but I will go with any of the Brontรซ sisters.

Do you have a comfort book that you re-read?

I absolutely love revisiting Harry Potter’s world ๐Ÿ’•

Do you write in your books? If you do, what do you like to write?

I avoid writing in my books as much as possible. Any notes that I have to take or a quote that I like go in a separate note pad.

Whatโ€™s a series youโ€™d recommend to everyone?

Can I say Harry Potter again? ๐Ÿ™ˆ

When you see a beautiful bookcover, do you get attracted by it and does it make you want to read the book?

Totally! ๐Ÿ™ˆ Beautiful covers compel me to judge the book by it’s cover. On netgalley, I often request books because of their covers.
